Can I exchange my white iPhone 5 for a black one?

I've ordered using the apple store with AT&T and opened the box and and I was wondering if I could exchange them without paying the 10% restocking fee. I also used my only upgrade to get this phone (which as I understand should be returned/reused). Owned it for less than 12 hours.

I just don't like the white, want black. (yes I realize it may scuff).

If you bought the phone on VerizonWireless.com, can you still exchange it at an Apple Store?

I purchased it online though. I'm going to try to go into the store tomorrow and see what they can do though.

last year for my 4s i did, i got it at radioshack though, bought a white one, swapped it for a black

verizon shafts you..they charge like 35 bucks to exchange or return a phone unless it has a defect
