iPhone Can I expose the App-Switcher with single finger "slide up" motion, using Activator?

    Hi all,
Just jailbroken my device, and getting to grips with Activator.
Instead of having to double tapping the home button, I'd like to be able to expose the App Switcher by simply flicking my thumb from the bottom of the screen, upwards. Think of it as doing the same as accessing the Notification centre, only bottom-to-top, rather than top-to-bottom.

Is this possible? If so, how?

    Thanks!

Yes it's possibly. It's rather self explanatory; there's a trigger for swiping up, and one for activating the switcher, so just combine those

If you already have it downloaded then just go to settings and setup "From Screen Bottom" under "Slide in Gesture" to Activate Switcher. It won't be as fluid as Notification Center activation but it will do what you want. I have mine set to "Double-tap" of Status bar to activate the switcher.

Yes, what you're looking for is Zephyr.

There are 2 options: it can open just the switcher, or close the app (and open the switcher by holding it by x seconds depending on what you set it to)

    Because Activator's sensitivity sucks.

i see what you mean, just tried the Activator swipe up from bottom and yes the results are poor.

Might have to try zephyr, or the double tap the menu thing with Activator

There is a nack to using activator like this. Start with your finger just below the bottom of the screen (i.e. off the screen) then slide your finger up from off the bottom of the screen, pause for a fraction of a second then lift your finger off the screen, works perfect every time.

Zephyr is much better for this task. It actually has feedback ie jiggle it and it'll go up and down, and actually feels like part of iOS, as oppose to via Activator which feels like a bodge. Love Activator for all manner of other stuff though.

I don't have great luck with activator or Zephyr.

Zephyr is fantastic...feels built into the OS, while Activator always felt hacked on to me.

I've found the best settings for combining the 'close app' and the multitasking drawer functions are to set the activation area to 'wee' while setting the multitasking drawer delay to 0.1 seconds. Then a slow swipe will open the drawer, and a flick will toss the app off screen.
