I have to use a PC running Windows 8, I want the 27' cinema display because I like the fact that everything is integrated (speakers, webcam etc) but cannot get a clear answer on what I need to do to get the speakers/microphone/usb hub/camera to work. I don't want to buy one until I know it can work.

Has anyone tried this and get the monitor working as it should?

It should work as long as your PC has a mini DisplayPort or you have the proper adapter. The Cinema display had 3 cables

- mini DisplayPort for the display
- MagSafe for charging MacBooks, but since you're using a PC, you won't be using this
- USB for the hub, speakers, etc.

Yeah it will work. There are many PC video cards with Mini Display Port. The Boot Camp drivers will install everything that's needed to make the camera, speakers, and microphone from the ACD work on your PC.
