Can i get a virus from parallels

I was curious, is it possible to get a virus whilst running windows virtually and if so are there any dire consequences to OS X. Also what anti-virus software and firewalls are you guys using...if any?

Viruses affect the windows side...in theory its possible to get a virus to delete all your HD's stuff, including OSX's, but its virrtually impossible.

I reccomend AVG free edition (for viruses) and Ad aware (for spyware).
