can i get a

    3G sim card or a sim card with only internet from att. i only need internet on the phone not text and phone... only internet or 3g service.

    Nope.
    If you can prove that your deaf then you might be able to get a data and text plan without voice.

    Just walk in there and tell them you cant hear anything:)
    Bring someone with you to act like your talking thru sign language.

    Worth a try.
    Worst that could happen is they will say no.
    Try not to laugh or slip while your there.:)
    I'd pay to see something like that:D

    #1 They won't do that. My mother is deaf and we asked if they could do a text line only and they said they can't do that.
    #2 unless you and the person you know both know sign language and how to communicate fluently, your plan will not work.

    On #1 Im pretty sure there is plans for the deaf or hearing impared. Maybe the store rep you went to didnt want to help or had no idea they have them available.
