Can I Get Rid Of the Sync Icon??

Hey all, Im still new to mac but Im loving my new MBP. I just did the 10.5.5 update and now I have this sync icon...

I dont use MobileMe so Im not sure what I would be syncing... So, how do I get rid of this icon? Ive been poking around in system prefs and cant find anything. I also did a search but wasnt sure how to search for this one.

Duff-Man says...hold the command key and drag it off...poof!....oh yeah!

It can also be turned off/on from the preferences menu in the iSync application.
