New iPad Pro M4, can’t figure out how to make these go away. System settings notifications, the Finish Setting Up is for Siri, which I don’want. This isn’t a big deal or super important, just annoying.

Usually I click through to the screens and there is an option to “setup later”. The notification then goes away.

Yes, that worked when initially setting it up. Now, these notifications are just hanging out at the top of my settings, and on the settings icon. A “no thanks” button would be nice.

You can turn off notifcations for the Settings app itself. Or just turn off the badge, as that is the eyesore. Sadly, Apple thinks the Settings app is a great way to advertise services, so we just have to ignore it as best we can.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I can turn off notifications for the settings app, doesn’t appear to be available. Maybe it’s an ios version thing.

Some of the setups, Apple requires you to go several levels deep to get rid of them. Siri is a good example, after every OS update I need to actually start settling up Siri, then I cancel and the setup siri notification is gone. The other two you actually need to visit the underlying advertisements where you can say you don't want them.

No you cannot. The Settings app doesn’t allow you to disable or configure its own notifications.

That “special privilege” may have made sense in the past when the notifications it sent were rare but I don’t know why it’s still like that today.
