hi all,

Last time I checked a month or so back there was no way of getting data from watch only runs or swims into Strava.

Has anything been released to allow the integration yet? Wanting to pick up a series 2 for my wife and she will run without her phone.

Regards,

Greg

There are various 3rd party applications that will allow you to get runs and swims to Strava. Strava's own Series 2 application is slated to come out during the first part of the year.

Nike Run Club, RunKeeper, Pear, among others all work without the phone, and have either direct (Pear) or 3rd party methods to get run data to Strava.

Swimming support on Strava in general is poor, but RunGap and SpectaRun Workouts both allow you to sync swims completed with the native Workout app to Strava.

Thanks, just picked up a aw2 for my wife. She's going to swim tomorrow so it looks like I use the native swim app and then Rungap to sync the swim to Strava? Is that correct?

And then when she runs she should use the Runkeeper app and not the inbuilt app, correct??

Thanks again,

Greg
