iPad Pro Can I get student discount for AppleCare+ after purchase?

Apple student discount has 20% discount for AppleCare+ at checkout. Can I get the same discount after purchasing or does it need to be purchased during checkout?

Not sure, but if you contact Apple they'll probably let you get it for the student price.

The buying requirements are the same as non-education. Sign into your account on the Education Store and put it in your cart to see if you get the discount.

You can only get the discount at time of purchase. I found that out a few weeks ago.
