Hello everyone. I recently upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion, then to Mountain Lion when it came out. Now I have a couple of old SL DVDs that are no longer in use, then my friend bought an old macbook, and wanted to install SL on it. Is it against the terms of service to let him borrow and install SL on his mac if I am no longer using it and it is uninstalled on my computer? Thank you.

I have a macbook pro, and he has a macbook, it wont work at all?
No, it won't. The grey install discs that come with Macs are model-specific and will not work on other models. Your friend can order replacement discs for his model by calling Apple (800-767-2775 in the US).
