Hi,

The volume keys work as expected in my mac, but is it possible to have it change itunes volume when i hold cmd (or opt)?

That way
Volume up -> change system's volume up
cmd + Volume up -> change iTunes's volume up.

Cheers,

Leo

It appears that you cannot assign cmd-volumeup/down or ctrl-volumeup/down, at least not that I can find quickly. You can assign FN-volup/down, which is really F11 and F12, as long as you unassign them from dashboard and mission control.

You did notice that there are already keyboard shortcuts for this by default of cmd-up-arrow and cmd-down-arrow right?

Doesn't work because you have to be in itunes to change it. I would like a global command. Tried keyboard maestro but it didn't quite work.

If you have an Apple Remote, that will change the volume in iTunes, not system volume.

I still have mine from my old 2006 iMac; works well with my 2012 Mini!
