I have a MBP (not the unibody), & I'm trying to do some video editing, can I hook it up to 2 monitors. I don't want them mirrored, I want the 2 monitors to be like 1 Big monitor.

How do I do this?

it is a MBP 17" 2.4GHz

Yes you can, it's called the Matrox dualhead2go. The MBP can only output to one external monitor but the DH2G is a device that makes two displays appear as one. So two 1920x1200 monitors will appear as one 3840x1200 monitor.

You can hook up an extra monitor with ViBook, which is basically USB-driven graphics card capable of 1680x1050 resolution. So you could hook up your MacBook Pro to an external display, drive a second display with ViBook, and even use the built-in 17" screen.
