Can i hook up the laptop to the tower?

What is the simplest way to connect the laptop to a G5 tower? I want to drag some music from that computer to the laptop. I don't have an external HD....yet.

Put the Power Mac G5 into Target Disk Mode, connect a FireWire cable between the two, and drag the files.
