Can I import a text file with email addresses into mac contacts

Is it possible to import a RTF or TXT file with around 175 email addresses into the Contacts application running the latest version of Sonoma? If so, how?

I want to add these email addresses into a Group in Contacts.

Yes. You may have to change the contents to CSV format first.
