The volume definitely is louder from the white plastic side if that helps in any way.

They are not anywhere as loud as theTile Pro.. but the frequency is pretty good good for punching through ambient noise. But a bit louder would be better..

I agree they need to be louder, especially if you are putting them inside something.

That's disappointing that volume can not be increased. I have a 95-year-old relative who has trouble hearing and sometimes misplaces items. Hopefully, Apple will work on adding this feature.
