can i insert Mini DVD-RW on Imac?

i have this Digicam that use Mini dvd-Rw to Record
and i want to transfer the videos to mac and edit it
is't safe?

Only full sized media, if you read the manual that came with the iMac -- it says not to do it.

Slot loading drives tend to choke and die on mini/odd shaped media.

Don't insert the mini DVD, it will get stuck. If you need to use it, get an external DVD-ROM drive.

Depends on the slot loading drive. The slot loading iMac G3's could take Mini CD's and DVD's just fine. However, the new iMacs can NOT.

Putting a mini-DVD into a current iMac will wreck the drive; don't even try it. You can only do it with a TRAY loading drive. OOPS
