can I install 10.4 from an MBP on an ibook G4 ?

Hi - I upgraded an old MBP to Leopard so have a copy of Tiger which is no longer in use - Will I be able to install the MBP version of os x 10.4 Tiger on an old ibook G4 or do I need the full retail version...

What kind of Tiger is it?
If it's the restore DVD from the MacBook Pro, that's piracy, and it won't work.
If it's a Tiger DVD/ CD, it's perfectly legal, and should work perfectly.
