I got a Mac last month. When I plugged in my iPad to transfer movies on to it and export photos off of it, I noticed garage band was added to my iPad. I guess this comes free with Macs and automatically uploaded the app.

I love it, but my brothers and mom also want the app on their iPads.

Can I plug in their iPads into my Mac and also let them download the app for free? Or would there be something that doesn't allow me to do that?

Thanks.

I thought Garage Band was stock on all iPads? It came pre installed on my iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Mini 3. Do they have an older iPad? If so, it may be a free download from the App Store for them.

That's what I thought, too.

It said it costs $4.99 when I searched for it in the app store.
