I want to use my iMac 2007 model to install MS Windows XP to it as my only and only operating system and not have IOS on it at all. Is that possible?

Macs don't run iOS, they run Mac OS X. Yes, you can do that. Just put the Windows XP disc in and boot from that. Then tell it to use the entire hard drive. Make sure you have your Leopard or Snow Leopard disc handy to install the boot camp drivers.

Why do I need to install bootcamp drivers, seeing I don't want anything on there except for MS Windows XP?

Because Windows XP is very old and it lacks the needed drivers for the iMac's systems. Most of them can only be gotten from boot camp's driver package.

    Ok thanks:)

SO I boot into the XP install CD, and install and when will it ask for the Snow Leopard install CD? How does XP know to ask for that?

After XP is fully installed and at the desktop, put in the Snow Leopard disc. Autorun should startup the boot camp driver installation. If it doesn't open it via My Computer.
