Can I jailbreak my 3G 32gb yet?

Geohot made it work today.. I think Chronic Dev will loose this battle...

We should get it in the next days..
 
He did break it, it's called black ra1n just google it. I used it on my 3g 32gb and it worked like a charm except it has to be tethered.
 
Yea, Blackra1n should do is, if you are on 3.1.2

The only problem is that the jailbreak is tethered, meaning you cannot let the battery die or you will have to run Blackra1n again.

Keep in mind that it is a Windows tool only.

any news on the mac version? I've heard you have to downgrade itunes 9 to 8 and also downgrade the touch too. is this true if I wanted to jailbreak the latest ipod touch today?
 
Just keep in mind when iTunes says "iTunes has detected an iPhone/iPod in recovery mode, please restore to the correct firmware", just ignore it. Let Blackra1n do the work.

And the Mac Blackra1n is released.

you mean after or if the iPod shuts off??

i've tried both mac and windows versions of Blackra1n and it either lasts a few hours of use and then gives me the connect to itunes screen or goes straight to that screen after the Blackra1n screen. Either way, i'm soon forced to restore the ipod in itunes to get it working again.

any ideas?

Ignore the "must restore" message -- dismiss it by clicking ok -- then run blackra1n again.
 
im only getting new 3g itouch when jailbreak is out
