It's not a house, it's a home.
Hi,

I've used Pwange tool 2.0.1 on my phone (1st gen) to unlock it on 2.0

My friend isn't so high-tech, so I'm wondering if I can just send him the custom firmware I made (in simple mode) and he can option-click restore in iTunes?

Will that work or do they need to run Pwnage themselves?

Thanks!

yea. that works fine.
Thats how originally Windows users were able to pwn their phone in the first place, since Pwnagetool isnt made for windows.

just a word of advice, use advance mode and take out the pineapple logo and steve jobs recovery logo.
incase he screws something up, then at least he can go to apple store and there wouldn't be any traces (if it was hacked and stuck on bootloading screen)
