I am wondering if you can somehow lock a folder so that if you try to open it asks you for a password on mac os x leopard
 
I almost needn't comment that everyone saw straight through the purposeful vagueness in this post...

Holy crap, do you guys search the forums before posting a question? *sigh* This has now been answered in 5 separate threads!!

Two ways:

1. Use Disk Utility to create an encrypted .dmg containing your content
2. Use either of these two pieces of software:
a) http://www.dekorte.com/projects/shareware/Crypt/
b) http://www.apimac.com/secret_folder/index.php
