    Hello,

By default, all the connected drives will mount on the desktop on boot or login. Is there a way to make a drive (internal or external) not mount by default?

When I'd need it, I'd have to go to Disc Utility to mount it manually.

    Thanks

I had the same problem and ended up creating AppleScript apps set to auto-launch at login.

Thanks for the trick. I did a little research before asking here and came to your conclusion. I was hoping that someone here might have stumbled on something.

Hi. I use Mountain. You can specify the drives/volumes you don't want to be mounted in the preferences.
