I updated to 2.2.1 regularly via ITunes. I want to jailbreak. I found a guide to jailbreak 2.2.1. does this mean that i can jailbreak my IPHONE 3G even though it has the regular apple 2.2.1 firmware?

yer thats fine you can jailbreak but you cant unlock.

i jailbroke it but it is stuck at the apple. Windows recognizes it but nothing else. should I do it again?
