As the title please guys.

Got a new job and a new iPhone with it. Personally I don’t want 2 phones but it is what it is. Want my watch paired with that also so I can get all the notifications from that phone too.

Each watch is tied to a "ghost" number by the carrier. Then tied to your iphone number. You should be able to see the "ghost" number on your bill. At least that is how Verizon does it. Not sure of internal details of how it works.

Cell is irrelevant. You can only pair an Apple Watch to ONE iPhone even if it is a GPS only.

As indicated above, it is not going to work. However you can pair multiple watches to a single iPhone.
