Can I pass efi two boot arguments at once?

Can I pass efi two boot arguments at once, say i want to boot 64 bit, but also want to boot verbose mode.
i'm not talking about holding keys during boot, but changing settings in the nvram or changing the boot plist.

but would prefer to keep my verbose boot...
