I managed to get my iPhone 4 to wirelessly update to iOS 6 but it said 2 hours to go and it's been downloading for about 3 hours now. Now it says 13 hours to go! Can I pause it and try downloading it another day?

I'm in the same boat. The wifi here at work sucks. It decreased to 11 hours recently, but there's no way for me to even tell if it's downloading or if it's stuck :(

I think we'd be ok stopping as long as it says "downloading". If it said "installing" then I wouldn't pause or stop it....

I disconnected wi-fi and that seems to have done the trick. Apple has to assume that the wi-fi requirement means there will be times that wi-fi fails, otherwise they would have a mess on their hands on roll-out day.

Well mines failed now, so I'm going to leave it for a few days and try again.
