Can I play Spotify from my Apple TV?

I'm debating going all in on Apple's ecosystem. But that would require me to drop my chromecast and replace it with an Apple TV. That's fine for me because I will be using Apple Music but for everybody else in my house that uses Spotify... I'm wondering if that'll be a problem or not.

You should be able to AirPlay music via the Spotify app on your iPhone and/or iPad to your Apple TV.

Why do you have to drop the chromecast? I put mine on another TV.
