Can I port my number through the itunes set up

I'm new to AT&T and i'm switching service from verizon. I'm porting my number as well. I ordered the phone from apple and was hoping when it gets delivered that I could activate it through itunes. Will I be able to do this or am I going to have to take to the AT&T store to have it activated? thanks

Yes you can port the number through itunes setup.

It actually happens pretty fast as well.
