Can i procede ? iPhone 4 - 4.3.3 to 5.0.1

HI, i have an iphone 4 version 4.3.3 (8J2) firmware 04.10.01 and its been jailbroken, i want to upgrade to the new version and wanted to keep my phones apps and cydia sources. could be kind to guild me through this ADVENTURE LOL also how do i backup my iphone before restoring it??

iTunes saves your regular apps. Pkgbackup will save cydia apps. Write down your sources and re-add them. Problem solves

I am having iphone 4, ios 4.3.3, bb 4.10.01...

I want to update it to 5.0.1 through SHSH or to 6.1.3..

My problem is I am running 4.3.3 using GEVEY SiM
and i want to know that GEVEY SiM will work with 5.0.1 or 6.1.3 after restore?

Should I preserve baseband to use GEVEY SiM with ios 5.0.1 / 6.1.3 ?
or I should do something else which you guys instructs me...


Please help guys...

Yes you need to preserve your BB.
For 5.x use redsn0w
For 6.1.3 use sn0wbreeze

But I dont understood what you want to say...
And ya the site doesn't have any thing related to gevey for iphone 4...
they just have iphone 4S related...

I dont know how to use redsn0w to preserve BB please tell me how to do that
as I am a complete noob, sorry for that and please help me out...
