Can I Purchase a New iPhone with a Check Online?

I don't believe you can. Most website wont let you. If you can pay by paypal then you can set up your paypay to draft automatically from your bank account. Other than that, I don't see a way.
 
Are you a current Verizon customer? If so, you could have them bill your account for the phone and pay that with a check.
 
Most of the new computers are set up for this. The DVD slot also serves as a deposit slot. Just insert the check face down when you get to the payment screen.
 
Good luck with that. Our local AT&T stores don't even let you order an iPhone with a debit card, it has to be an actual credit card. And thats face to face.

i thought credit cards were scanned using an optical mouse?

i guess that's why it never worked. i'll try stuffing them in my macbook's slotloading drive.

Dang, you learn something every day. I thought that the led on the magsafe adapter was the scanner. Green for checks, and amber for credit/debit cards.

now i have to make an appointment at a genius bar to get my credit card out of my dvd drive. 😡
