Can I re-install mac os on different mac with restore disks?

Right, found online for sale IMAC g3 restore disks with some other software that I can maybe use on my PowerBook g4. I would buy the normal OS but it's so pricey!

Is it possible to install mac os via restore disks on a different mac??

Can someone maybe send me systempreferences.app for mac os 10.3?? So I can repair my original installation?

Nope. Grey restore discs are model specific and will not work on other Macs.
