I just bought an Imac... it arrives this week. My question. Can I use my macbook at work to log in and watch what's happening in my house through the new imac's isight cam?

Possible?

Any software you can recommend?

Maybe some other cool home security software out there?

Hate to spend a lot of money.

Thanks!

Some free options...

1) If you have MobileMe, enable screen sharing and launch Photo Booth on the iMac and watch away.

2) Sign up for two AIM accounts or whatever allows video chatting, leave your iMac with iChat open and setup iChat on the iMac to automatically accept video chat requests. Just request a video chat from your MacBook if you want to see things from the iMac's camera.

Of course, there are most likely other ways, and perhaps security software, but these should do you well (I'd recommend #2 because you get sound, video, and the option of full screen).
