Can I remove iDVD and iWeb safely?

iDVD and iWeb have been dead for a while, but they came with my Mac back in 2010 and are thus still there. I've never used them and never will: can I just delete them via the trash or will that cause issues since they were part of OS X?

Sure can. I never used them on my old iMac 2007, so removed them when I first got it. Have never had any issue after removal.
