I just HATE any scratch and I have like 20.LOL :D
I don't want to replace my 2G.Don't know why but I'm lovin it.
Or,in case that I can't,where can I buy an aluminium back for my iPhone (i need Italy shipping!).
Thanks and sorry for my bad english!

I don't know personally, since I just adopted iPhone, but I understand that using this and then applying this will make them less noticeable. With the addition of a case, your phone should look pretty good.

Yeah, iKlear is by far the best screen cleaner, and will sorta "blend" those scratches in, lasts for about 12 hours.

    i hear you
i just got my 2G iPhone again and its scratched up bad, thinking of replacing the back and the front glass, but i don't feel comfortable doing it my self

anyone know if there is anyone in Canada or USA - excepts Canadian shipping that can do this for me at a decent cost?

Other than Apple, no. But with the help of YouTube, iFixIt, and Ebay, I'm sure you could do it yourself.

embrace the scratches and go with a brushed metal look using steel wool or the rough side of a scotch brite sponge

(i assume you are talking about scratches on back as you asked where to buy an aluminum back)

Has that been done on an iPhone? I did it to my first generation iPod Nano, and it actually looked better than it being all scratched up.

I've use Brasso for both of my iPhone's chrome bezel and for my 1st gens back. It works great for the bezels, for sure, and did a fair job of getting rid of some of the light scratches on the back. It made the scratches look a little bit "beter."

Like others have said, Brasso works wonders on the bezel, however, I have yet to find something for the back of my iphone 3g

I have managed to maintain a relatively scratch free phone by using a case most of the time, but good to know that there are options if I ever needed it.

I love my 2G... One year now and going strong.... I've kept it in a contour showcase. No scratches and still looks like day one. :):apple:
