eBay full with lens\glass sellers but every disassemble guide I see ending with the whole lcd+lens part in their hands and they don't separate them, so I'm not sure what should I do with the glass itself...

If I must replace the whole screen, what is the cheapest place to find it, and what is the screen (retina)\touch quality compare to Apple's ?

Apple asking fo 149$ (before taxes), and I'm not sure it's the most valuable option I have.

Many thanks!

On the iPhone 4 and 4S, the glass and LCD screen are glued together and impossible to separate.

Thanks for the reply!
What about the screen quality and the touch sensitivity with the replacement screens?

You get what you pay for.
If you go for the cheapest knockoff replacements you will have issues with quality and touch sensitivity.
Try to find OEM units.
