Can i restore a 4S from iOS 6.0 to iOS 6.0?

    Hello.

    Can i restore a 4S from iOS 6.0 to iOS 6.0?

    Yes, but you'll need to upgrade to 6.0 first.

    I don't think so. I think you can only restore to 6.0.1, the current version

    Damn:/

    What if i try to restore with shift+update + 6.0 ipsw?

    You can try but I don't think it will work as apple is no longer signing 6.0

    Then i have to upgrade to 6.0.1 :/
    I hope jb will be avaliable on 6.0.1 too.

    Basically, its this. There's not much difference between 6.0 and 6.0.1 anyway. 6.0.1 is essentially 6.0 + bug fixes, so it's better in a way. No harm if you go with it.

    But i can't restore now.Error 3194,and i can't edit my hosts file :(

    Why can't you edit your hosts file? For PC, go to windows file -> System32 file

    Because win8 didn't let me to.But i have fixed it :D

    Windows 8 sucks, from my POV. I rather buy a secondhand Windows 7 PC now than a new W8 PC with touchscreen.
