Can i restore a 4S from iOS 6.0 to iOS 6.0?
Yes, but you'll need to upgrade to 6.0 first.
I'm already on iOS 6.
Yup this is what I had to do to!
I don't think so. I think you can only restore to 6.0.1, the current version
What if i try to restore with shift+update + 6.0 ipsw?
You can try but I don't think it will work as apple is no longer signing 6.0
Then i have to upgrade to 6.0.1 :/
I hope jb will be avaliable on 6.0.1 too.
Don't worry, most likely it will.
Basically, its this. There's not much difference between 6.0 and 6.0.1 anyway. 6.0.1 is essentially 6.0 + bug fixes, so it's better in a way. No harm if you go with it.
But i can't restore now.Error 3194,and i can't edit my hosts file
Why can't you edit your hosts file? For PC, go to windows file -> System32 file
Because win8 didn't let me to.But i have fixed it
Windows 8 sucks, from my POV. I rather buy a secondhand Windows 7 PC now than a new W8 PC with touchscreen.
This response will make me happy for the rest of the day...thank you!
