Can I Retroactively add Display to Mac Pro Applecare?

I purchased a MP a few weeks ago with Apple care.

I noticed the coverage was for MP with or without display.

I haven't even registered yet but if I purchase a display will it be covered or did I need to buy the display in the same transaction?

Technically you are supposed to have bought the ACD at the same time.

I believe that you can if you haven't registered. I know that I have added one that was on two different receipts, but they were from the same date.

I believe as long as you haven't registered it yet you should be alright with both reciepts

They should allow you to do it, especially if you havent even activated it. If you do run into an issue just call the 1800 number.

I thought i was going to have a problem getting my MBP put on applecare as i was two days late adding it. I just called the 1800 number yesterday and they were a pleasure to deal with and were very helpful. Took care of everything and were very understanding.
