I was given a CRU (Customer Replacement Unit) at the Apple store because I've been having Kernel Panic issues. They gave me a brand new computer and even gave me a receipt for it. My question is, does Apple treat CRUs like new purchases, and do they fall under the 14 day return policy? Is there any way I can return it for a refund? They did not give me the entire package, just the MBP itself, because I already had the charger.

I would expect that the 14 day replacement policy is from the date of original sale. But why ask here when you can simply call Apple?
