Yes you can. It will now run under Crossover Games and apparently Parallels/Fusion. Depending on your GPU though you may want to bootcamp into Windows to run it, if you have an Intel GPU, as the Windows drivers are better.

Ya I defiantly suggest bootcamp for gaming. Your specs will handle Left 4 Dead on windows MUCH better than they would using a virtualization or crossover.

Right click the above wrapper and show contents. Double click the info.plist file (this is a simple text file that tells the wrapper where to find things).

Now explore the folders, you will have to dig around a bit but you will see a folder called 'C Drive.' Usually you will find it in: /resources/transgaming/

Now drag the L4D program folder from your windows partition into the wrapper's C Drive folder.

Check the info.plist file and make sure the folders are named correctly.

Close everything and double click L4D to play on your Mac.

Cider wrappers are slower than running the same game in windows, but I can live with the performance. Oblivion and NWN2 run great on my MBP.

Valve's games work great too. All of them!
