Can I save BBC iPlayer programmes?

Hi there

I want to be able to save shows from BBC's iPlayer to my Mac and iPhone to watch on the train when the Edge signal on my phone is really rubbish.

Can I do this?

Officially - Because of the unique way the BBC is funded this is not possible.

We were promised this in 2008, so you should have it in... 16 days at the most. Unless you are cynical like me and think it will probably be another year...

only works on 10.5 but works perfectly for me.......

id go for the iplayer grabber instead. i dont want to have it just for 30 days.but cant you do the same if you were to use ishowu,where you could just record a selected bit of the screen.not like the quality is gonna be good on these streams anyway unless you keep it in the window box

I'd rather use the official one and let the BBC know how many Mac users there are out there that want this kind of thing.
