Can I sell an iPhone that's under the Apple iPhone Upgrade Program? Has anyone done this before?

Yes, but you will still have to make the payments or pay it off with the proceeds. You do not have to turn it in after a year, and after two it's yours anyway.

Just to add to this. You probably will not find anyone willing to buy a phone that you do not actually own. If you stop making payments they probably blacklist the phone. Similar to when people try to sell phones on carrier payment plans.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't know if there were restrictions and I couldn't sell the phone.
Nah, they are mutually exclusive. Citizens just gave you an interest free loan, it's the same thing as you putting that phone on your CC and carrying the balance. You would not have to pay off the Visa if you sold it. Same thing, think about it that way.
