iPad mini Can I somehow run YouTube app on iPad mini 2?

Hello,
I love the iPad mini 2 and a few years ago I got iPad mini 9 and I seriously regret it. It has a worse display than the iPad mini 2 (my opinion).
I can type easily on two hands on the mini and typing is also a lot faster on the mini. I still use it occasionally, but it's at the point where it's becoming obsolete for me and I struggle to do basic tasks on it. Such as browsing the web (even with only one tab open) and I was so disappointed that YouTube doesn't work on it anymore. Can I still make it work somehow? I mean I think I bought it in 2014, so I should be happy about the life it offered me + I did my schoolwork on it as well and have some amazing memories.

How to sideload on iOS 12? I'd have to jailbreak it I guess? Cydia?
