    Hi,

I've been busy for ages and will be for a bit longer as well. I want to Jailbreak my iPhone 5 (currently 6.0) so I wonder, is it still possible to download the software version, say 6.1.1, even if 6.1.3 is out? And if so, where?
I would then use the firmware to 'restore' my phone.
I know iClarified used to link them but I'm not so sure any more.

    Thanks.

No. You can download the software for previous iOS versions, but you won’t be able to install it on your phone until/unless some crafty devs figure out how to stitch SHSH blobs on iOS 6. And even then you’ll need the proper blobs.

Your best bet is to restore to 6.1.2 in iTunes right now, and stay on 6.1.2.

There never was 6.1.1 firmware for iPhone 5 anyway.

You cannot manually restore to any firmware that is not signed by Apple for a long time now. Wish it was still that easy to just download the fimrware file and restore to it whenever you want.
Even since shsh blobs came out over 3 years ago that option is gone.

Phew thanks for letting me know!

I hate restoring though. Takes ages. Can't I just update? Mind you, I haven't synced with iTunes for ages because I hate it. I use CopyTransManager to chuck music on.

My advice is to backup every now and then using itunes wether you hate it or not.
If your phone gets stuck and needs a restore you will love the idea of plugging it in and getting all your stuff are back.
Yes, you can update using itunes.
It doesnt take ages unless you have a really slow internet connection at home.
