Bought an Apple TV for the den where we usually watch TV. My wife likes to read and watch TV in bed at night, so I figured I'd pickup a Roku for that room. It gives her Netflix, Hulu Plus, and a few other things she watches. She asked me if she could stream a CBS show from her iPad to the Roku, I said I don't know! So here I am asking the experts!

Thanks.

Kinda depends what cable company you have. I have a Time Warner and it lets me stream many but not all live TV channels to my Roku. I haven't used it in awhile but I remember it had live TNT, not sure about CBS. Last I checked, many months ago, it didn't do on demand, but maybe now?

I use Plex on Roku to watch CBS. You need to adjust a few settings to get it working but it once it's set it works great. I've been watching The Big Bang Theory on it pretty regularly (in HD no less).
