Can I swap Rogers Sim Cards 3G to 3GS

My boyfriend has a 3G with Rogers. I just got a 3GS from work on Rogers. I own an iPhone 4, so I don't need the work phone for anything other then calling/email. I'd like to just give him the 3GS so he can use a faster phone.

Can we just swap the cards?
