It is easy enough to find out the camera can do 4K movies at 24, 30, or 60 frames per second, and the camera is 12MP, but it is harder to find the pixel dimensions of photos.
Apparently the camera can do 4032x3024 images. 4K is 3840x2160. So you it can do images that exceed that size, although I am not sure if you can get it to take exact 4K pictures.
And one caveat, 4K cinema is 4096 pixels wide, which is slightly beyond the dimensions of the camera (3840 is TV 4K).
