I’m trying to generate some 3D data using two iPhone 4’s and software found at http://www.scannerkiller.com
There is a video on You tube (( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZ0ZLtWuuSA )) where they have used two iPhone 4’s to resolve a 3D sequence at 30 fps using the iPhone’s HD cameras. I’d like to do something similar but create some 3D data using the iPhone’s 5MP still camera.
The problem I’m having is that I can’t find a way to remotely trigger my iphone 4’s without touching them. Also I need to keep my focus and exposure locked… is there an app or a creative way to trigger an iPhone 4 remotely while keeping the camera’s focus and exposure locked ?
My setup is quite simple and uses two iPhone 4’s, two Pro adapters from http://www.kungl.com and a Manfrotto tripod, as seen here…
