Can i turn the gamecenter off?

What? Gamecenter does appear under settings>notifications just turn it off there...

Also, open gamecenter, at the 'me' screen, press your game center account email and it will give you the options of view account, sign out, or cancel, so you just sign out and be done w/ it.

anybody know how to prevent games from popping up the gamecenter login screen?

jailbreaker 2 for example asks every time you restart your run and it blocks your view and can lead to early deaths.
