Can I unlock my 3GS?

Want to upgrade to 4.3.1 and unlock my 3GS, BB 6.1.5. I know ultrasnow has issue to unlock the old BB, but can I unlock mine? Of course I will use customer build IPSW.

If you have Ipad baseband 06.15, then Ultrasn0w 1.2 will work on this baseband.
